Appointment of teachers in LP & ME schools of Assam on 28 August: Himanta Biswa

August 27: The appointment of teachers in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (ME) schools of Assam will take place 28 August, 2020. Taking to his twitter handle, State Education Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “On 28th August, almost after three years, we are going to resume the appointment of teachers in our elementary schools based on merit. Happy to accomplish another task assigned me.”

Earlier during a press briefing, Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that 300 selected candidates will be given appointment letters. An event maintaining Covid protocol will be held at Srimanta Shankar Dev Kalakshetra in Guwahati in this connection. The other selected candidates were asked to download their appointment letters from the specific websites.
