An enthralling evening at ‘Abhyudaya’, the Management Fest 2022 of Assam University
April 22: The outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic in 2020 followed by series of lockdown had indeed jeopardised human life as almost all activities ceased to exist. With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, educational institutions too gave a deserted look with students glued to the online mode of learning. However, with the improvement in the scenario, normalcy has again been restored. The classrooms, the corridors, the cafeteria within the campus are now once again witnessing activities.
A similar scene was also witnessed in Assam University, Silchar. Gradually, offline classes were started from this session. Students have started to come to the campus and the hostels. The yellow buses were seen to come inside the campus full of students.
However, as it is said, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so the Department of Business Administration of Assam University, Silchar were back to the campus and that too with a bang. ‘Abhyudaya’, the Management Fest 2022 on 22 April.
A variety of programmes were conducted during the Management Fest ‘Abhyudaya’ on Friday. The cultural wing of the Management Club presented some spectacular performances organised by Symphony. Traditional dance numbers, melodious songs, playing of musical instruments, Bihu dance enthralled the house full audience.
The musical night was organised at the Bipin Pal Seminar hall of the varsity. Flutist Soumyadeep Paul Choudhury won the hearts of all by his mesmerising performance. Local band ‘Madly Bangali’ too presented some melodious numbers. Overall, it was a feast for the eyes and ears.
Apart from this, the Department of Business Administration also organized a management conclave on the sidelines of its annual Management Festival, ‘Abhyudaya 2022.’ The theme of the conclave was ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat, The Industry perspective. Variety of events were organized, which included Quiz competition, innovative business idea competition and Debate competition. The event finally came to an end with the grand cultural evening.
