An awareness programme on NEP 2020 held at Ramkrishna Vidyapith

Way2barak, June 1 : An awareness programme cum workshop on National Education Policy 2020 was held at Ramkrishna Vidyapith Higher Secondary School on Wednesday. The programme was initiated by the IQAC, Ramkrishna Nagar College. The programme was started with the welcome speech of Saradindu Nath Mazumder principal Ramkrishna Vidyapith. He emphasized on the implementation of the NEP 2020 at all levels i.e Secondary and Higher Education. He also urged the students to study hard. He informed about the facilities of higher education available at Ramkrishna Nagar College. Mr Mazumdar is also the member of G.B R.K.Nagar College.

Dr. Rahul Deb Assistant Prof, Deptt of Chemistry highlighted the different opportunities for the students after 10+2. He is also the president of the SMDC Ramkrishna Vidyapith. He encouraged students about various scope of higher study in Chemistry.

Dr. Dipankar Paul Assistant Prof Deptt of Physics discussed in detail about the NEP 2020 . He highlighted mainly on the Implementation of NEP in Four year Under Graduate Course with details subject combination that can be opted by a student . He also Enlighted about the interdisciplinary course, skill enhancement course and ability enhancement course and also on the value added courses that a student will study from this academic session irrespective of stream. He discussed about the lateral entry and exist system for the students and academic bank of credit. The Honours with Research and Honours Course is also briefed in his speech.

A large number of students of class XII attended the workshop. Biswajit Nath PGT Chemistry and Seema Paul PGT Mathematics of Ramkrishna Vidyapith also attended and added valuable suggestion for the students.
