Special camp for linking Aadhaar with Voter Card took place in all polling booths of Cachar on Sunday

way2barak, Sept.4: On the direction of Election Commission, a camp was organised in all the polling booths of Cachar district on 4 September wherein linking of Aadhaar Cards with EPIC Cards (Voter Cards) was done. As a part of this Special Camp for linking Aadhaar card with Voter Id cards, the AERO, BLO Supervisors and BLOs of Cachar District were seen in the various Polling stations of Cachar helping out the electors with Form 6B.

Earlier. in a notification issued by the District Administration, it was stated that the voters are to be present in their respective polling booths on Sunday and get their voter cards linked with Aadhaar. In this connection, the voters were asked to come to the polling booths along with their Aadhaar card and EPIC Card (voter card).
