নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে ধলাইয়ে বাইক দূর্ঘটনার শিকার যুবক
A boy suffered multiple injuries in a bike accident at Dholai

৭ সেপ্টেম্বর : নতুন বাইক চালানো শিখে রাস্তায় বেরিয়ে দূর্ঘটনার কবলে পড়লেন এক যুবক। বর্তমানে গুরুতর জখম ধলাই থানা এলাকার ষোলো নম্বর গ্রামের বাসিন্দা স্বপন দাস (৩২) শিলচর মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। তাঁর শরীর ও মাথায় মারাত্মক আঘাত লেগেছে। মাথা ফেটে প্রচুর রক্তক্ষরণ হয়।

জানা যায়, আজ দুপুর সাড়ে বারোটা নাগাদ বাইক চালিয়ে ধলাই থানা এলাকার ষোলো নম্বর গ্রামে নিজের বাড়িতে যাচ্ছিলেন স্বপন। ওই সময় একই গ্রামের জগদীশ চৌহানের বাড়ির সামনে রাস্তার মোড় ঘুরতে গিয়ে তিনি বাইক নিয়ে দূর্ঘটনার কবলে পড়েন। নির্জন দুপুরে তখন রাস্তায় কেউ ছিল না। এমনকি পাশে থাকা জগদীশের বাড়ির লোকজনও ঘরে ছিলেন না। কিছুক্ষণ পর হঠাৎ করেই জনৈক পথচারীর নজরে পড়ে, রাস্তার পাশে বাইক সহ একজন রক্তাক্ত অবস্থায় অজ্ঞান হয়ে পড়ে রয়েছে। তখন ওই পথচারী হল্লাচিৎকার করে আশপাশের লোকজনকে জড়ো করেন। জখম স্বপন দাশকে চিনতে পেরে তার বাড়িতে খবর দেন। পরে তাকে ধলাই প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। কিন্তু স্বপনের অবস্থা বেগতিক দেখে চিকিৎসকরা সঙ্গে সঙ্গে শিলচর মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তর করেন। স্থানীয়দেরও ধারনা, স্বপন বাইক রাস্তার মোড় নিতে গিয়ে নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে নিজে থেকেই দূর্ঘটনা গ্রস্থ হয়েছেন।

September 7: A boy who has recently learned to ride two-wheeler met with an accident today at around 12.30 in the afternoon. The boy named Swapan Das (36), a resident of village No.16 under Dholai Police Station is presently under treatment at Silchar Medical College and Hospital, Silchar. He received multiple injuries in his head and body.

Today afternoon, Swapan was on his way to village No.16 under Dholai Police Station. Suddenly, Swapan fell down from his motorbike while taking turn near the house of one Jagdish Chouhan of the same village. At that moment no one was in the street. Even the family members of Jagdish whose home is at a stone’s throw from the site of the accident, were not in the house. A little later, a passerby noticed him lying unconscious in a pool of blood. Immediately, he raised a hue and cry. People identified Swapan and also informed his family members. He was then rushed to Dholai Primary Health Care Centre. But as his condition was very critical so he was sent to Silchar Medical College & Hospital. Doctors have stated that his condition is very critical. People of his locality are of the view that Swapan lost control while taking turn and fell down from the bike after losing balance.
