214 Covid deaths in Assam in last 3 days including 63 on Saturday

May 15: With a tragic turn of events, more and more people are losing their lives in Assam due to Covid-19. In the last three days, 214 persons in the state have lost their lives due to the deadly coronavirus. On 13 May, 75 people succumbed to Covid-19, 14 May recorded 76 more deaths and on 15 May, 63 persons lost their lives in the virus attack.

Out of the 64 deceased on Sunday, 21 are from Kamrup Metro; 5 each in Cachar & Dibrugarh; 3 each in Bongaigaon, Kamrup Rural & Karbi Anglong; 2 each in Barpeta, Darrang, Goalpara, Golaghat, Nalabri & Sonitpur; 1 each from Dhemaji, Dhubri, Hojai, Jorhat, Karimganj, Kokhrajhar, Lakhimpur, Morigaon, Nagaon, South Salmara & Tinsukia. The death tally of the state now stands at 2,123.

Apart from the 2,123 Covid deaths, another 1,347 Covid positive patients also died in Assam, but due to comorbidities.
