281 tests COVID-19 +ve in Assam on Friday, 3 death registered

April 9: On Friday, out of 25,119 tests, 281 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,19,553. The positivity rate in the state is 1.12 percent. At present, there are 1,263 active cases in the state.

On Friday, 38 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,15,828, patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam. The recovery rate in the state is 98.30%.

Further, during the day, 03 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1,115.
