Covid-19: Students of Class IX & XI to be promoted without exams in Maharashtra

April 7: In the wake of recent surge in coronavirus cases, the Maharashtra Government on Wednesday announced that all students in Class 9 and Class 11 will be promoted without taking exams. Earlier the  Maharashtra Education Department announced to promote students from classes 1 to 8 without final exams. However, the state Government announced that the exams for Class 10 & Class 12 Board Exams, 2021 will be held offline and the date sheet for these exams will be released soon.
