3 tests COVID-19 +ve in Cachar on Sunday

March 7: On Sunday, 03 new case of COVID-19 was reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 180 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, none were found positive, whereas, 03 persons were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Sunday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus now stands at 11,492.  Further, a total of 11,445 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 12 active cases of COVID-19 in the district, out of which, 05 of them are admitted at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH), whereas the rest are in home isolation.
