Assam registers 2 more deaths on Monday due to COVID-19, toll reaches 995

Dec. 7: On Monday, two more persons lost their lives in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 995. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 02 deceased were identified as:

• Krishna Goswami (58) of Tinsukia
• Krishna Thapa (65) of Kamrup Metro
