Tarun Gogoi to be cremated at Navagraha Smashan in Guwahati on 26 Nov

Nov. 24: The last rites of former Assam Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader Tarun Gogoi shall be performed at Navagraha Smashan in Guwahati on 26 November, 2020. The decision about the date and venue of cremation of the veteran leader was finalised as per the wishes of his family and the Congress party. This was informed in a tweet on Tuesday night by State Cabinet Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “As per wishes of family and @INCAssam late Tarun Gogoi will be cremated in Navagraha Smashan on Thursday, November 26, 2020.”
