International Human Rights Council felicitates policemen at Rangirkhari TOP

Nov. 1: The festival season witnesses extra activities of the law enforcing authorities everywhere. However, this year during the Durga Puja the police forces were additionally burdened to ensure that the COVID protocols are obeyed all throughout. Due to the prevalence of the ongoing pandemic, Cachar Police personnel too were on duty round the clock.

As a mark of recognition of their dedicated service, the Cachar District Board of International Human Rights Council felicitated the policemen posted under Rangirkhari Town Out Post. Apart from this, they also distributed face masks and hand sanitisers over there.

The members who were present on behalf of the Council are Dayamoy Bardhan, Anup Dutta, Partho Shoam, Tapash Hore, Lucky Das, Jhumur Dutta and Sudip Ghosh.
