Assam registers 8 more deaths due to COVID-19, tally rises to 360

Sept. 6: On Sunday, Assam registered another 8 more deaths due to COVID-19. With this, the death tally has gone upto 360 in the state. In a tweet, this was confirmed by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The deceased were identified as:

• Sankor Sharma(58) & Late Madhusmita Baruah(43) from Sibsagar
• Maina Das(42) from Lakhimpur
• Giribala Devi(70) from Nagaon
• Prasanta Kumar Borthakur (62) & Prabnab Bhiwmick (62) from Kamrup Metro
• Hiranmoy Das (73) from Kokhrajhar
• Dhaneswar Bora(92) from Jorhat
