Hearing of public grievance to take place every Friday, says DC Keerthi Jalli

June 19: In a bid to redress the many pending public complaints on the occasion of Public Grievance Day ‘Abhijuger Protikar” has been launched by Deputy Commissioner Cachar Keerthi Jalli  on Friday at the conference hall of the her office.

While speaking during the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli said, “This step will augment in delivering good governance. Every ‘Friday’ hearing of public grievances will be undertaken from 10 AM to 12 noon at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner in presence of heads of all line departments to deliver quick justice against pending grievances.”

DC Jalli said this would be a platform for convergence of works to be undertaken and cross cutting silos of the departments to ensure so that common good is being served for the purpose. She also suggested that to clean the PHE water supply scheme from Anuwa Beel can be used, she also suggested that the Beel can be cleaned of hyacinths through MGNEREGA. In addition to that Google tools would be used to keep track of action taken by individual departments actively on real time basis.
