68 new +ve cases reported in Assam, total rises to 3498

June 12: Another 68 new cases of COVID-19 positive were reported from Assam on Friday evening. With this, the total tally of the state has gone upto 3498, out of which 1950 are active cases. A total of 1537 patients were cured and discharged from various hospitals of the state. Friday also registered the 7th COVID-19 related death in Assam. A patient from Hailakandi died at Silchar Medical college & Hospital (SMCH). With this, the death tally of the state has also gone upto 7.
