Clothes & food distributed by Gauri Shankar Roy Birth Centenary Celebration Committee

May 31: Late Gauri Shankar Roy Birth Centenary Celebration Committee distributed saree, dhoti, lungi, face masks and dry food items among the residents of ‘S.K. Roy Memorial Senior Citizen Home’ at Katlicherra. This is the 10th monthly (May) programme of the committee of the year long ‘Birth Centenary ‘ celebration which started on 12 July 2019 and will conclude on 12 July 2020.

Present during the distribution programme were Sanjeev Roy, Secretary of the Celebration Committee, Aradhana Roy, Raju Senapati, Chandrabati Roy, Anuj Goala , Nonda Roy, Bandita Trivedi Roy, Amit Rakshit, Bijoy Bhuson Das, Dhananjay Roy and Jhuma Roy. The next 11th programme will be a ‘Smriticharan Sabha’ at ‘Netaji Bhavan’ ,at Manipur Tea Garden of Katlicherra Constituency, on 25 June at 11 AM. It is to be mentioned that Late Gauri Shankar Roy was four times MLA from Katlicherra constituency and was a renowned freedom fighter.
