Increasing load of COVID patients at SMCH, DC Cachar explore other hospitals in the district

DC Jalli then called for a meeting for motivating the hospital staff with the attendance of Superintendent S. M. Dev Civil Hospital, Ashutosh Barman and doctors, nurses, GNM and staffs of the hospital. “We are facing extraordinary times that need extraordinary steps and I am confident we will fight together” said Jalli to the Hospital staff.

Later, she visited Urban PHC and the M. G. Model Hospital, Palonghat with a view to oversee the infrastructure for treatment of mild and moderately severe COVID-19 positive cases. Sumit Sattawan, ADC (Health), Dr. Sudip Jyoti Das, Joint Director of Health Services, Rahul Ghose, DPM and Suman Choudhury, District Media Expert accompanied her in the visit.
