ABVP Silchar Unit organises ‘article writing’ contest & ‘art competition

March 30: Amidst the 21 days national lockdown to fight against the deadly coronavirus onslaught, there seems to be suddenly no work for millions. The children, especially are finding a very tough time being locked inside their homes. In order to involve the student community into something constructive, Silchar Unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has come up with an unique idea.

ABVP has organised an online “Stay at Home & Write Article Contest.” The organisers have selected four topics on which the articles can be written, which are:

• COVID-19 and India’s war against it
• Service of doctors in this pandemic situation
• India in Lockdown
• Effects of coronavirus in global and Indian economy

Further, AVBP has also organised an online ‘art competition.’ The theme of the art competition is “Fight against Corona.” Students of Class IX onwards can participate in this art competition.

Those willing to participate should send in the articles in pdf or jpeg format via WhatsApp at 8134086540 or 8753993081. The best articles will be awarded with trophy and certificate. The last date for sending entries for “Article writing contest” is 10 April, 2020, whereas for online art competition, the last date is 4 April, 2020.
