Dr. Ratan Das dies due to massive heart attack

March 18: Dr. Ratan Das, MD, Medicine died on Wednesday afternoon due to a massive heart attack. He was a doctor at Valley Nursing Home and Green Heals Nursing Home, Silchar.

As per sources, Dr Ratan Das was on leave on Wednesday. However, he went to Valley hospital and visited the in-house patients there. It was then that he went to his ancestral house at Natun Bazar under Dholai Constituency. Just as he was about to get down from his car, he suffered a massive heart attack.

He was then immediately rushed to Valley Nursing Home, where he was declared dead by the doctors. Dr. Ratan Das, aged around 50 is a resident of Deshabandhu Road, Silchar. He is survived by his wife, one son and a daughter.
