করিমগঞ্জ সীমান্তে নেশার টেবলেট জব্দ করল বিএসএফ
BSF seized tablets worth Rs.39 lacs at Karimganj border

ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তে অভিযানে নেমে ফের সাফল্য পেয়েছ বিএসএফ। গোয়েন্দা সূত্রের খবরের ভিত্তিতে অভিযান চালিয়ে সীমান্ত সুরক্ষা বাহিনীর জওয়ানরা প্রচুর পরিমাণে নেশাজাতীয় সামগ্রী জব্দ করেছে। বিএসএফ-এর মিজোরাম ও কাছাড় ফ্রন্টিয়ারের জওয়ানরা এ দিন ভারত বাংলা সীমান্ত ঘেঁষা করিমগঞ্জের চাঁদশ্রীকোনায় অভিযান চালান। জানা গেছে, বিএসএফের তাড়া খেয়ে নেশাসামগ্রী বহনকারী দুই ব্যক্তি অন্ধকারের সুযোগ নিয়ে গভীর জঙ্গলে পালিয়ে যায়। তবে তাদের সঙ্গে থাকা নেশা সামগ্রী ভর্তি ব্যাগ দুটি ফেলে যায়। এই বেগে তল্লাশি চালিয়ে প্রচুর পরিমাণে নেশাজাতীয় ট্যাবলেট,গোপাল জর্দার প্যাকেট ইত্যাদি উদ্ধার করেন জওয়ানরা। এগুলোর আনুমানিক বাজারমূল্য ৩৯ লক্ষ ১৪ হাজার ৪০০ টাকা।

প্রসঙ্গত, গত কয়েকদিন আগেও বিএসএফ বরাক উপত্যকার বিভিন্ন স্থানে অভিযান চালিয়ে প্রায় ৪ কোটি টাকার নেশা সামগ্রী জব্দ করে।

September 4: In its expedition carried on in the Indo-Bangla border, BSF has again attained a huge success. On the basis of secret information, the BSF soldiers launched a special mission and seized abundant of tablets used for intoxication. The expedition was led by the Mizoram and Cachar Frontier soldiers of BSF at a place called Chadsrikona in Karimganj which is besides the Bangladesh border.

Sensing trouble, the drug peddlers escaped into deep forest taking advantage of the dark. However, while escaping they dropped their bags which contained those tablets. Huge amount of tablets used for intoxication, packets of Gopal Zarda etc were found from the bags. The market price of the seized amount would be around Rs. 39 lacs 14 thousand and 400.

It needs mention here that a few days back, BSF conducted raids in various parts of Barak valley and seized various types of drugs worth around Rs.4 crores.
