England wins World Cup 2019 against New Zealand

July 14: England defeated New Zealand in the super over and won the World Cup 2019. This is England’s maiden World Cup victory. It was indeed a hear-break for New Zealand who fought hard through the whole tournament.

This is the first time that World Cup final has been tied. The 2019 World Cup final was decided in Super Over after New Zealand dismissed England for 241 runs in their 50 overs. Needing 15 runs off the last over, England scored 14 runs and lost two wickets. New Zealand had put up 241/8 in their 50 overs.
