2 persons arrested in connection with Joydeep Dey murder case at Karimganj

May 31: Within 24 hours of the brutal murder of Joydeep Dey, Manager of Sugam Travels, police has arrested two prime suspects. The two accused who were arrested by Karimganj are Sartak Nag and Subendu Namashudra.

On Thursday night, Joydeep Dey was brutally murdered in the heart of Karimganj town. After striking him multiple times with a machete, the miscreants fled away from the spot leaving Joydeep in a pool of blood. As a result, he died on the spot. Local people found his body lying next to Bhola Guest house at Ghatline area of Karimganj town. He is a resident of Bipin Paul road in Karimganj.

It was just four days ago that Joydeep Dey, Manager of Sugam Travels got married. Karimganj police are examining all possible angles which could have led to this murder. However, for the sake of investigation, the investigation police team is not ready to divulge any information at this stage. Police Super of Karimganj has assured that his team is working round the clock and the details about the murder would soon be found out.

Meanwhile, the incident of murder in the centre of the town has sent a chill of horror throughout Karimganj. Earlier during the day, people blocked the road in Karimganj town protesting against the murder in the heart of the town.
