Dibrugarh hosts maiden tea auction

way2barak, September 26: Dibrugarh on Friday witnessed the successful launch of the region’s maiden public tea e-auction, giving tea planters, tea manufacturers and thousands of small tea growers a new digital gateway to the wider national marketplace.

The inaugural auction, organised by Assam Chai Bazaar LLP at HM Resort, drew enthusiastic participation from both sellers and buyers, marking a significant step towards establishing Dibrugarh as a technology-driven tea trading centre in the easternmost tea-producing belt of the country.
