Seven-day workshop and faculty development programme to begin at Assam University tomorrow
কাল থেকে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে সাতদিনের কর্মশালা ও শিক্ষক উন্নয়ন কর্মসূচি

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শিক্ষক সংস্থার উদ্যোগে ও অভ্যন্তরীণ উৎকর্ষ নিশ্চয়তা কোষের সহযোগিতায় সাতদিনের কর্মশালা ও শিক্ষক উন্নয়ন কর্মসূচি সোমবার থেকে শুরু হচ্ছে। ‘অ্যা রোডম্যাপ অন বিল্ডিং অ্যা স্ট্রং ফ্যাকাল্টি আর অ্যান্ড ডি প্রোফাইল’ শীর্ষক এই কর্মশালা চলবে আগামী ১৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি পর্যন্ত। এই কর্মসূচির পৃষ্ঠপোষকতায় রয়েছে নতুন দিল্লির অনুসন্ধান ন্যাশনাল রিসার্চ ফাউন্ডেশন, গুয়াহাটির নর্থ ইস্টার্ন ডেভেলপমেন্ট ফিন্যান্স কর্পোরেশন লিমিটেড।

সোমবার বেলা দশটায় বিপিন চন্দ্র পাল মিলনায়তনে আয়োজিত উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে অনলাইনে উপস্থিত থাকবেন ন্যাশনাল এডুকেশনাল টেকনোলজি ফোরামের চেয়ারম্যান অধ্যাপক অনিল সহস্রবুদ্ধে। সম্মানিত অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থাকবেন কলকাতার ইন্ডিয়ান স্ট্যাটিস্টিক্যাল ইনস্টিটিউটের অবসরপ্রাপ্ত অধ্যাপক ভাবতোষ চন্দ।

আয়োজকদের পক্ষে যৌথ সংযোজক ড. সোমনাথ মুখোপাধ্যায় ও ড. অমিত কুমার দাস জানিয়েছেন, এই কর্মসূচির মাধ্যমে শিক্ষকদের গবেষণা ও উন্নয়নমূলক কর্মকাণ্ডে দক্ষতা আরও বৃদ্ধি পাবে এবং অ্যাকাডেমিক উৎকর্ষ ও সহযোগিতামূলক শিক্ষার পরিবেশ আরও সুদৃঢ় হবে।

Way2barak, February 8 : A seven-day workshop and Faculty Development Programme will commence at Assam University from Monday, under the initiative of the Assam University Teachers’ Association in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Titled “A Roadmap on Building a Strong Faculty R&D Profile,” the programme will continue until February 14. The programme is being supported by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation, New Delhi, and the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi), Guwahati.

The inaugural session will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Bipin Chandra Pal Auditorium. The Chairman of the National Educational Technology Forum, Professor Anil Sahasrabudhe, will attend the event online as the chief guest. The guest of honour will be Professor (Retd.) Bhavatosh Chandra of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

Joint conveners Dr. Somnath Mukhopadhyay and Dr. Amit Kumar Das stated that the programme aims to further enhance faculty members’ skills in research and development activities, while strengthening academic excellence and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
