270 grams brown sugar seized, one arrested in karkat Basti

way2barak, March 24: On the basis of a secret information an operation was conducted at Assam Mizoram Border at Karkat Bosti area under the jurisdiction of Dholai Police Station today . During the operation, Police recovered 22 nos. of plastic saop cases containing suspected to be brown sugar from the possession of one, namely Ramfanglien Hmar.Later on the recovered articles weighting about 270 grams suspected to be brown sugar has been seized as per procedure in presence of independent witnesses and arrested Ramfanglien Hmar(55yrs), resident of Lower Lobonkhal under Jirighat PS. Police says, further legal action is being initiated.
