Women’s College Silchar observes International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

way2barak, 26 June : In sync with the rest of the world and different parts of the country, Students and teachers of Women’s College Silchar echoed their voices against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on the ocassion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on Monday.

A pledge was administered to the students in the college and an awareness drive with students and teachers including Dr Devasree Datta, principal in-charge, Dr Sanghamitra Debnath, the NSS programme officer, Dr Abhinandan Choudhury, Dr Nairita Bhattacharjee with placards spreading messages in front of the bust of Ullaskar Dutta at Shillongpatty to quit the consumption of drugs and echoed the motto to make the country Nesha Mukt.
