Actor Kamal Haasan on Saturday join Rahul Gandhi-led ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Delhi

way2barak, Dec.24: Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is the latest celebrity to join the Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ led by Rahul Gandhi. Haasan is the latest celebrity to join the Congress’s padyatra, which has already covered nearly 3,000 km and will cover 12 states travelling a total of 3,570 km before culminating in Jammu and Kashmir in January-end. Kamal Haasan  joined ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Delhi. “As an Indian citizen, my contribution will always be to protect the people of the land. Jai Hind!” Haasan tweeted.

Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi also joined Rahul Gandhi till the yatra halted for the morning break in Delhi’s Ashram Chowk. The yatra entered Delhi from Haryana Saturday morning and was accorded a warm welcome at the Badarpur border by party leaders and workers.
