DC Cachar visits SMCH, takes stock of encroached land of SMCH

way2barak, Oct.12: Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Rohan Kumar Jha visited Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) along with the Circle Officer (CO), Sadar and inspected the encroached land of SMCH.

DC Cachar also visited Govt. Dental College along with CO Sadar & Dr BK Bezbaruah, Principal, SMCH and inspected the portion of land of the said college, which have been encroached. He also interacted with the Principal, Govt. Dental College and heard about the problems being faced by them, such as, shortage of staff, water supply, electricity etc. and directed the officials of the concerned departments for early resolution of the same.

The Deputy Commissioner also visited AMRUT Water Supply Scheme (Phase-I) at Silchar Medical College and Hospital and took stock of the progress of work and instructed the department concerned to expedite the work to meet the deadline.
