Kataki was caught red handed at 7:05 PM, inside the Police Station, soon after he accepted Rs. 4,000 as bribe from the complainant. The tainted bribe money has been recovered from a carton near his office chair in which the Sub Inspector had thrown the bribe amount on seeing the approaching team of the Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam.
