1 found Covid +ve in Assam on Thursday, 3 discharged & active cases 11 in the state

June 9: On Thursday, out of 201 tests, no persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,24,243. The positivity rate in the state is 0.50 percent. The positive case was detected in Kamrup Metro district. Further, on Thursday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639. The recovery rate is 98.90 percent. No persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,16,246 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 11 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Wednesday, no persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
