Assam gets approval for 10 new flyover & ROB projects worth Rs 738 cr on National Highways

March 29: Assam Chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet on Tuesday informed that 10 new flyover & ROB projects worth Rs 738 crore on National Highways in the state has got approval from the Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India.

The Chief Minister said, “These projects will scale up Assam’s growth story through better connectivity.” He also made mention of the locations where these new projects will come up. These are: Kathiatoli, Borghat, Demow, Raha, Baihata, Simlaguri, Bongaigaon Refinery, Chapaguri, Pathsala and Jagiroad. However, there was no mention of any place in Barak Valley where these new projects will come up.

Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma further offered his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Sri Nitin Gadkari for approving these projects. 

These projects will scale up #Assam’s growth story through better connectivity.
