Leave allowed to employees on 6, 7 Jan to be treated as special CL & won’t be deducted from regular CL

Jan. 4: The Governor of Assam has issued a notification on 7 December to allow State Government employees to avail Casual Leave on 6 and 7 January, 2022 suffixing the two holidays, the 8th and 9th January, 2022, being second Saturday and Sunday, so as to enable them to spend the aforesaid days with their living parents and parents in laws.

In continuation of this this order, it was further informed on Tuesday that, the Casual Leave allowed to the State Government employees will be treated as Special Casual Leave, which will not be deducted from the regular casual leave account of the employees. This special Casual leave is in addition to the normal casual leave available to the employees of Government of Assam. This was stated in an order issued by Govt of Assam on 4 January.
