CM Himanta Biswa meets Home Minister & Finance Minister in Delhi

Dec.21: Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma went for an official visit to Delhi. On Tuesday, the Chief Minister called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Later on, while interacting with the journalists, CM Sarma informed that the border issues between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh has been discussed in the meeting which was also attended by Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu. Sarma also informed that the next round of meeting between the two states over the issue will be held in January next year. 

Later on during the day, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma also met Union Finance Minister Sitaraman. Taking to his twitter handle, the Chief minister wrote, “Honour to have met Hon Union Finance Minister Smt @nsitharaman along with MPs of Assam in the Parliament today. Her insights & guidance on matters of key economic issues are always enlightening.”
