1 found Covid+ve in Karimganj & none in Hailakandi on Monday

Dec. 20: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Monday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 cases. The district has altogether has 06 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 737 RAT tests and 75 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,930 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,497 patients were discharged. It needs mention here no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 2,156 persons were vaccinated on Monday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID case on Monday. The district has currently 16 active COVID cases, while 01 patient was discharged on Monday. 563 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that no persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Sunday.
