1 patient each on ventilator & oxygen support out of 9 active patients at SMCH on Friday

Dec 10: The Covid-19 situation in Cachar is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 9 December to 5 PM on 10 December) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Friday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 10 December, there were 09 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patient was put under ventilator support, and 01 in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, no Covid positive patient was admitted at SMCH but 01 of them was discharged.
