Cachar police recovers 2,600 WY tablets & 5,899 R tablets, 2 drug peddlers nabbed

Dec. 5: In yet another success in its war against drug smuggling, Cachar Police team led by O.C. of Silchar Police Station along with CRPF on Saturday evening, arrested two drug peddlers from Rongpur and Gossaipur. On being searched, police recovered 2,600 contraband WY tablets and 5,899 R tablets from their possession. Further investigation into this matter are going on.
