205 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 6 deaths registered

Oct. 17: On Sunday, out of 19,350 tests, 269 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,06,468. The positivity rate in the state is 1.06 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 68 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 06 more persons died in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,950. The recovery rate is 98.45 percent.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 269 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 deaths were registered.
