385 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Tuesday, 9 death registered

Oct. 5: On Tuesday, out of 46,051 tests, 385 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,03,623. The positivity rate in the state is 0.84 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 131 positive cases during the day. Further, on Tuesday, 07 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,897. The recovery rate is 98.29 percent.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 333 persons tested positive in Assam and 09 death was registered.
