Kaziranga National Park will be opened for tourists from 1 October

Sept. 29: Well, it seems to be good news for the wildlife lovers. Due to Covid-19, Kaziranga National Park in Assam was closed for a considerable time. meanwhile, on Wednesday the Park authorities informed that Kaziranga National Park will be opened for tourists from 1 October, 2021 in a phased manner. Informing about the development, West Assam Wildlife Division in a press statement stated that only jeep safari at Kaziranga Range, Kohora Range and Pachim (West) Range shall be open for tourists.

Notably, the Elephant ride in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve has not yet been permitted for tourists. That means, in the 1st phase, Kaziranga National Park will be opened partially for the tourists.
