2nd dose of both vaccines to be given at only 1 centre in Silchar on 8 August

Aug 7: Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Saturday stated that on-spot vaccination session for those above 18 years of age will take place at only one centre in Silchar on Sunday, where both Covishield & Covaxin will be provided. A total of 300 doses of Covishield and 100 doses of Covaxin vaccine will be administered on 8 August in Silchar town.

1. Urban PHC, Trunk Road, Silchar: Only 2nd dose vaccines will be provided on the basis of on-spot registration. A total of 300 doses of Covishield will be provided at this centre on 8 August. Apart from this, 100 doses of Covaxin (2nd dose) Covaxin will also be provided at this centre on 8 August on the basis of spot registration.
