Covaxin in both online & on-spot mode to be given at 1 centre in Silchar on 4 August

Aug 3: Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Monday stated that both online and on-spot vaccination session for those above 18 years of age will take place at only 1 centre in Silchar on Wednesday, where only Covaxin (2nd dose) will be provided. A total of 250 doses of Covaxin vaccine will be administered on 4 August in Silchar town.

The centre in which Covaxin will be administered on Wednesday is:

1. Nazirpatty Model School: Only 2nd dose vaccine will be provided on the basis of both online slot booking and on-spot registration. 150 doses of Covaxin will be provided on the basis of online slot booking, whereas, 100 doses of Covaxin will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 4 August.
