Assam gets 8,81,360 doses of Covishield & 45,000 doses of Covaxin

July 31: “Stock Exhausted” was a common poster seen outside most of the Covid vaccination centres in the state for last 2 days. Meanwhile, Assam got a substantial number of Covishield and Covaxin doses on Friday night, which would soon be disbursed to the districts. Taking to his twitter handle on Friday, state Health Minister Keshab Mahanta wrote, “We have received 8,81,360 doses of Covishield Vaccine and 45,000 doses of Covaxin vaccines today.” This means, in all probability, vaccines will be available in the districts again from Monday onwards.
