Candidates not satisfied with HSLC results may apply for special exam from 5 to 12 August

July 30: The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has declared the HSLC/AHM Examination 2021 results on July 30. A record 93.10% of students passed this examination this year. Prior to this, the highest pass percentage of 70.71 was recorded in 2013. Out of a total of 4,26,553 candidates, 3,96,132 has come out successful in the Class X Board Final Examination conducted by the Assam Board.

SEBA Secretary Suranjana Senapati stated, “If a candidate is not satisfied with the results published on the basis of data provided by School Evaluation Committee, they may appear in the Special Examination to be conducted just after publication of results.”

Here are the guidelines that needs to followed by students willing to appear in the special HSLC examination:

  • Candidates appearing in Special Examination will have to appear in theory portion of all the six papers, where in their Internal Assessment Marks and Practical Marks will be considered from the existing data which are already provided to SEBA.
  • For the candidate who will appear in Special Examination, the electronic mark sheet provided based on the data of School Evaluation Committee will stand cancelled and a new mark sheet will be provided to those candidates based on the marks obtained in Special Examination.
  • The link for applying in Special Examination will be available in SEBA Official website (https://sebaonline.org). Candidates will be able to apply for Special Examination in the portal through their respective School Authority.
  • The portal will be live from 5th August to 12th August, 2021.
  • Date of Special Examination will be notified in due course.
