986 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Saturday, 15 deaths registered

Aug 7: On Saturday, out of 1,18,902 tests, 986 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,73,532. The positivity rate in the state is 0.83 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 159 positive cases during the day. Further, on Saturday, 15 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,372. The recovery rate is 97.04 percent.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 986 persons tested positive in Assam and 14 deaths were registered.
