95 tests +ve in Assam on Wednesday; 103 patients discharged
Active cases 3,470 in Assam
Dec. 23: On Wednesday, out of 21,627 tests, 95 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,15,680 out of which, 3,470 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.44 percent.
On Wednesday, 103 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,11,178 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 05 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1029.
