94 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Monday, 119 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec. 20: On Monday, out of 34,609 tests, 94 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,19,586. The positivity rate in the state is 0.27 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 53 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,149. The recovery rate is 98.64 percent. Also, 119 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 955 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 75 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
