85 students discharged from quarantine at Sarusajai Stadium

May 9: A total of 85 students were discharged from institutional quarantine in Guwahati on Saturday. These students studying at different institutions in Rajasthan & Gujarat came to Guwahati by bus. After arrival, they were put under quarantine at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati. On Saturday, they were discharged after their tests were cleared. State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma came to Sarusajai and personally monitored their discharge. Tweeting his reaction, the minister wrote, “We admire the tenacity of these boys in staying put as per instructions, and supporting us. Best wishes.”
