1,019 found Covid +ve in Assam, 2392 discharged & 19 deaths registered on Thursday

Feb. 3: On Thursday, out of 33,489 tests, 1,019 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,19,939. The positivity rate in the state is 3.04 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 238 positive cases during the day. Further, on Thursday, 19 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,518. The recovery rate is 96.99 percent. Also, 2,392 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 13,786 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Wednesday, 1,048 persons tested positive in Assam and 18 deaths were registered.
