ABVP demands change in programme schedule of TDC CBCS Odd Sem exam

Feb. 27: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has declared the poll schedule of the ensuing state assembly elections on Friday. Meanwhile, a few days ago, Assam University also announced the programme schedule of TDC Odd Semester Examinations, 2021, which will commence from 9 March and continue till 6 April. As the dates of examination and election will collide, so the Cachar District Committee of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) submitted a memorandum to the university authorities to change the programme schedule of TDC Odd Semester Examinations, 2021.

In a press release, Suman Suklabaidya on behalf of Cachar district committee of ABVP stated, “We are hopeful that the University authorities will consider our demand and will definitely come up with a revised exam schedule.

Meanwhile, in the same press release, ABVP has categorically mentioned that they are in no way associated with the protest demonstration that took place blocking the main gate of the varsity on Saturday by the college students.
