538 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Monday, 15 deaths registered

Aug 30: On Monday, out of 39,337 tests, 293 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,88,856. The positivity rate in the state is 0.68 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 103 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 15 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,655. The recovery rate is 97.86 percent.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 239 persons tested positive in Assam and 04 deaths were registered.
